Introducing AtlanticM&A
AtlanticM&A4 min read
AtlanticM&A is the Agentic Transformation OS: software in which an integration, carve-out or transformation programme is planned, run and reported, with AI agents doing the drafting and updating that usually eats the team's week. From Monday 12 October anyone with a real programme to run can use it.
The hard part is keeping the plan true
Anyone who has run a transformation project knows the pattern. The plan is good in week one. By week six there are three versions of it: the one in the steering pack, the one the workstream leads are actually working to, and the one in somebody's inbox.
A capable team then spends a surprising share of every week reconciling them, turning the result into slides, and briefing people who were not in the room. None of that is the work. It is the cost of keeping the record of the work current, and on my own programmes since 1998 it was the part that never got easier.
What AtlanticM&A does instead
The work happens in the platform, so the record keeps itself.
Start in minutes. Give AI Power Build a half-page brief: industry, size, horizon and what the deal is for. In about four minutes it drafts the strategic direction, the charters, the work plan and the roadmap. Virtual Walk the Walls then estimates the critical path across the workstreams. Every line is a draft for you to change. The film below shows one build from start to finish.
Or bring what you have. Most programmes are already running. Easy Onboard imports an Excel or CSV work plan, maps the columns for you and turns the indentation into the hierarchy. RAID registers come across the same way, and there is no big-bang cutover.
Keep it current. Meeting notes from Teams or Zoom come back as proposed updates to the plan and the RAID log. Nothing changes until someone on the team accepts it.
Report from the work. Because the plan is live, the steering deck, the status report and the value bridge are built from it, not assembled by hand the night before.
Six kinds of programme, one backbone
Integration, divestiture, value creation, transformation, agentic transformation and cloud migration all run on the same shape: strategic direction, charters, work plans and a roadmap. The vocabulary changes by type; the structure does not. It also means deal two starts where deal one finished.
Who it is for
Independent consultants, corporate development teams, private equity operating partners, serial acquirers and transformation offices. It is written for practitioners: it assumes you know what a Day 1 readiness gate is and why a charter has to tie back to a work plan.
What it will not do
It will not score your strategy or tell you whether to proceed. The platform presents and drafts; people decide.
Try it first
You can see it working before you speak to anyone: the interactive demo needs no signup.
Independents can pause between engagements and keep their data. Cloud Migration is sold separately through AWS Marketplace.
The trial runs for fourteen days with no credit card: one project, one seat and every feature. Generated downloads such as decks and workbooks need a plan.
Why I built it
My first M&A project, in 1998, was writing software to model a merger. Most recently I spent two years as Chief Transformation Officer of a private-equity-backed life sciences platform: nine acquisitions across three continents and a team of eighty, run on a dashboard I designed and built myself. The programme delivered. What it cost was people, and that is why this software exists. The longer story is on the about page.
About AtlanticM&A
AtlanticM&A is the Agentic Transformation OS. Its agents work inside the programme, both augmenting and automating the work of the transformation team: work plans, governance, stakeholders and reporting in one place, with a live value bridge that moves as the work does. It is a system of work rather than only being a system of record: the charter is written in it and the plan is built in it. Meeting notes come back as proposed updates to the plan and the RAID log, the team decides what stands, and every change the AI makes carries an audit trail. The platform does the slide-building, status reporting and stakeholder briefings that usually keep a consulting pyramid busy, so a small senior team can run the programme more nimbly and for less.
