Invite your team

Add the people who will actually do the work, and give each one a role that matches what they should be able to change.

People are invited at account level and then appear on the projects they are added to. An invitation goes to their email address; they set their own credentials.

How to invite

  1. Open Account and choose the Team tab. Only Owners and Admins can see it.
  2. Add the person's email address and pick their role.
  3. Send. They receive an email and can sign in once they have set a password or registered a passkey.

Choosing the role

  • Owner and Admin manage the account itself: team, billing, branding, templates and the audit log.
  • Integration Lead can create projects and edit everything inside them, but not change billing.
  • Team Member edits project content: tasks, risks, charters, status.
  • Observer reads. Useful for a sponsor who wants the picture without the ability to move a date.
  • Portfolio Executive and Portfolio Analyst are read-only roles pitched at the account view across projects rather than at one deal.

A role can only invite below itself. An Admin can invite every role except another Admin; only the Owner can do that. There is one Owner per account and that role cannot be removed.

Seats and what they cost

A seat is somebody who can sign in. Named people who appear in your governance structure, on a steering committee or in a stakeholder map are records, not seats, and cost nothing. Your plan sets how many seats you have; a free trial has one.

If somebody leaves

Remove them from the Team tab. Their authored content stays where it is, because the record of who decided what is part of the deal history. The audit log keeps the removal.
