Manual vs AI mode

AI mode analyzes your work plans and assigns each section a dependency level automatically. It is the fastest way to get a first read on a large program, and it re-runs as the plans change.

Manual mode lets you click any section and set its level yourself. Use it when you know something the plans do not say, which on a live deal is often.

The two are not exclusive. Most teams run AI mode for the sweep, then correct the handful of sections where the judgment is theirs to make.
