Set up Strategic Direction
Strategic Direction is where the deal thesis becomes something the rest of the platform can read: value drivers, objectives and the workstreams that will carry them.
Strategic Direction is the first of the four planning surfaces. You state what the deal is for, and the platform turns that into objectives and proposed workstreams that the Charters then take up.
You can author it directly, or give it a short brief and let the AI produce a first draft. Every AI suggestion arrives as a proposal you accept or dismiss; nothing is written into the record until you accept it.
What you set here matters downstream. The value drivers are what the Deal Value bridge measures against, and the objectives are what Charter milestones deliver. A project with no Strategic Direction still works, but the line of sight from thesis to task will be missing.
